Hotline News___________________________________________ Homework Hotline Receives $5,000 from the Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation December 9, 2009 Homework Hotline is so delighted to have the support of the Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation. As a result of their donation, Homework Hotline is able to add an additional Spanish tutor, making tutoring in Spanish for students and parents available every night, Monday through Thursday. Hotline callers receive free passes to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts! November 5 , 2009 During the month of November all Hotline callers will be offered up to 4 free adult passes to the Frist Center for the the Visual Arts! Callers must present a good question to one of our teachers to be eligible. Passes are valid until May 31, 2010. Students can always attend the Frist Center for free, but now they can bring their parents, relatives or favorite adults free of charge! Remember, help is always free at the Hotline! Frist Center visitors will have a chance to see all kinds of things including: Georgia O’Keeffe and Her Times Thomas Hart Benton in Story and Song Students will also love Martin ArtQuest, the place where they can make their own art,

Homework Hotline Receives $4,000 from SunTrust September 15, 2009
As the volunteers and administrators of Homework Hotline were gearing up to begin another successful year, SunTrust Bank jumped in with its support to underwrite an additional math teacher for the 2009-10 school year. “SunTrust is a strong supporter of education in the Nashville community. Homework Hotline is making a difference to students and parents. We are proud to be able to play a part in enabling the Hotline to continue to serve Tennessee students and their parents in this critical subject area,” says Rob McNeilly, President & CEO of SunTrust, Nashville. During a weekday session, SunTrust Business Banker and long time Homework Hotline volunteer Susan Michael presented a $4000 check from SunTrust Bank to Homework Hotline director Wendy Kurland. Homework Hotline Receives $15,000 from AT&T August 10, 2009

As Homework Hotline prepared for the 2009 - 10 school year, AT&T surprised us all with a generous donation. AT&T (previously BellSouth) is the Hotline’s oldest and most loyal sponsor. Their ongoing support, led by Kenny Blackburn, makes a difference everyday for the Hotline and enables us to continue to serve Tennessee students and their parents. During an August Hotline training, Kenny Blackburn presented the big check for $15,000 to Senator Thelma Harper and board member Sally Levine.
