Volunteers

Homework Hotline, in Nashville, Tennessee, needs volunteers on weekday evenings to provide tutoring by phone to struggling students or their parents.

Skills

Volunteers who love math, science, reading or social studies - this is a good opportunity to share your skills. Hotline tutors are always busy helping callers, grades K-12, with homework. Volunteers are not expected to know it all. Each volunteer determines his or her interests and skills. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed. Many high school and college student volunteers can earn credit. Qualifies for National Honor Society and other service club hours. Many community service volunteers welcome.
