Homework Hotline is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit. Since 1990, Hotline has provided over 567,000 one-on-one tutoring sessions to K-12 students at no cost to families.

Our Mission

Homework Hotline removes barriers to high-quality after-school academic support by connecting students with caring teachers via phone and online chat.

 

What We Achieved in 2022-23

  • 7,761 completed sessions on the phone or online chat

  • 2,569 unique students (1608) and parents/guardians (961)

  • 94% of sessions completed ended with students expressing understanding of concept

  • 85% of sessions completed ended with students proved mastery

  • 65% of sessions in math, 18% language arts/reading, 10% science, 4% history/social studies, 3% other

 

Weekly tutoring and homework help sessions are provided at no cost to students and their families thanks to the generous support of individual donors and the following organizations.
